Age Requirement

You must be 18 years or older to use remask.co. The service works with people's faces and likenesses, and is intended only for adults who can give and obtain valid consent. We do not knowingly permit anyone under 18 to use the service.

Consent and Rights

Only use faces, characters, videos, and images where you have consent, rights, or another lawful basis. Do not misrepresent a real person as endorsing, saying, or doing something they did not approve.

Disallowed Content

Do not create or share non-consensual intimate imagery, sexual content involving minors, harassment, threats, scams, blackmail, deceptive impersonation, or content designed to evade the law or platform rules.

Labeling AI-Generated Media

You must clearly label and disclose synthetic or edited media that depicts real people. When you publish or share content created with remask.co that shows a real person, you are obligated to make clear that it is AI-generated or AI-edited, using a visible label, caption, or equivalent disclosure. This reflects the direction of transparency rules such as the EU AI Act, which require synthetic and manipulated media to be disclosed so viewers are not misled. Review outputs before publishing.

Enforcement

We may remove content, disable generation, suspend accounts, preserve evidence, or report activity where needed to protect users or comply with law.

Report Abuse

Report misuse or safety concerns to [email protected]. Include links, screenshots, account details, and any context that helps us investigate. We review reports and take action where our rules or the law are violated.

Urgent: Non-Consensual Intimate Imagery (NCII)

If you are depicted in, or are aware of, non-consensual intimate imagery created or shared using remask.co, report it immediately to [email protected] with the subject line "NCII - URGENT." We treat these reports as our highest priority and aim to acknowledge and begin reviewing them within 24 hours. We will work to remove confirmed content quickly, disable the responsible account, and preserve relevant evidence. You do not need an account to make an NCII report.

Copyright and DMCA

We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe content created or hosted through remask.co infringes your copyright, send a notice to [email protected] with the subject line "DMCA" addressed to our designated agent, Remask.co AI (via [email protected]). Your notice should include: identification of the copyrighted work; identification of the allegedly infringing material and where it is located; your contact information; a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorized to act on their behalf; and your physical or electronic signature. We will review valid notices, remove or disable access to infringing material where appropriate, and may terminate repeat infringers.

Cooperation with Law Enforcement

We cooperate with law enforcement and may preserve, disclose, or report information and content where we believe in good faith it is necessary to comply with the law, respond to lawful requests, or protect the safety of any person.
